An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account Specialist to join a busy and well-established organisation. Working within a dedicated account team, you’ll coordinate day-to-day customer requirements, maintain accurate documentation, provide regular updates and ensure activities are completed accurately and on time. This would suit an organised, detail-focused and customer-orientated individual with experience in freight, logistics or supply chain coordination who enjoys managing a varied workload and building strong working relationships. What’s in it for you? * Work hours: Monday to Friday working 8.30am – 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch * Salary: £32,000 to £37,000 * 6 monthly discretionary bonus * Enhanced Pension * Health care scheme * Life Assurance * Employee Assistant programme Key Account Coordinator Specialist Responsibilities: * Coordinate import shipments, creating freight jobs and liaising with suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses and customers. * Maintain accurate shipment trackers, schedules, documentation and customer records. * Complete and check UK import customs declarations, ensuring documentation, duty and deferment information is accurate. * Manage IPAFFS, CHEDs, Port Health requirements, duty reclaims and supporting compliance documentation. * Prepare weekly/monthly customer reports, shipment updates and management information. * Complete invoicing, costings and landed cost calculations, resolving billing and duty queries. * Provide operational cover and key account support, monitoring vessel schedules, ETAs, deliveries and maintaining continuity of service. Key Account Coordinator Specialist Skills and Experience: * Experience within deep-sea import freight forwarding and UK import customs declarations. * Strong attention to detail when processing shipment, customs and compliance documentation. * Confident managing multiple live shipments, deadlines and customer requirements. * Professional communicator with strong customer service and key account support skills. * Competent with spreadsheets and reporting; CargoWise and document management systems advantageous. * Food import knowledge, including IPAFFS, CHEDs and Port Health requirements, would be highly desirable
