Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to customers to discuss outstanding balances and agree suitable payment solutions
- Manage inbound customer calls, resolving account queries professionally and efficiently
- Negotiate affordable repayment arrangements while balancing customer needs and business objectives
- Take secure card payments over the phone in line with compliance procedures
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
- Deliver outstanding customer service across every interaction
- Build rapport with customers and support positive account resolution
- Work towards individual and team performance targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, arrears, or a phone-based financial services environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence handling sensitive customer conversations over the phone
- Experience taking payments and discussing account balances
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/account management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- A positive, resilient, and target-driven approach
