Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to customers to discuss outstanding balances and agree suitable payment solutions
  • Manage inbound customer calls, resolving account queries professionally and efficiently
  • Negotiate affordable repayment arrangements while balancing customer needs and business objectives
  • Take secure card payments over the phone in line with compliance procedures
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
  • Deliver outstanding customer service across every interaction
  • Build rapport with customers and support positive account resolution
  • Work towards individual and team performance targets

Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you may have experience as a Collections Advisor, Customer Service Advisor, Accounts Receivable Advisor, Debt Recovery Advisor, or Contact Centre Agent. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in collections, customer service, arrears, or a phone-based financial services environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence handling sensitive customer conversations over the phone
  • Experience taking payments and discussing account balances
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/account management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
  • A positive, resilient, and target-driven approach
