Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of new claims from initial phone call through to successful set-up, ensuring all information is processed accurately and efficiently
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance and reassurance throughout
- Gather and verify all relevant claim information throughout the process
- Keep customers informed throughout the claims processes, informing them of next steps and any additional requirements
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service across all touchpoints, consistently meeting service standards and ensuring positive customer outcomes
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure claims are set up and progressed as they should be
Customer Service Advisor Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or claims handling role is essential
- Experience within insurance or claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential
- A customer-first approach, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding services and creating positive customer experiences
- Proactive, positive, and empathetic, able to remain calm when dealing with customers
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, professional guidance over the phone
- Superb IT skills, comfortable using databases and CRM systems
