We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Assistant to join a busy and successful sales team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working closely with the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers, providing day-to-day support across the sales process.
You'll help keep everything running smoothly, from processing orders and preparing documentation to dealing with customer queries and supporting the team with ongoing accounts.
It's a fast-paced environment, so we're looking for someone who can juggle priorities, communicate confidently and take ownership of their workload.
You'll be someone who enjoys being part of a team, gets stuck in and understands the importance of great support in helping the sales team secure and deliver business.

Sales Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers with day-to-day sales, customer and administrative activities.
- Prepare customer quotations, presentations and sales documentation accurately and to deadline.
- Complete new product forms, product set-up information and other customer-specific documentation.
- Maintain accurate product, pricing and stock information across internal systems, including monitoring product availability.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to progress orders, resolve queries and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Follow sales opportunities, quotations and orders through to completion, providing flexible support wherever needed to help drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
Sales Support Assistant Skills and Experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data.
- Good working knowledge of Power Point and Canva, with the ability to create professional customer presentations.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing a varied workload, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines in a busy sales environment.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with strong communication skills and the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
- Previous experience within Sales Support, Customer Service, Account Management support or Commercial Administration would be highly advantageous.
