Join a small, friendly team as an Accounts Administrator, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy accounts function. This is a varied, hands-on role, ideal for someone who is organised, accurate and confident managing a range of accounts and administrative duties.
**This is a Temp to Perm opportunity**, offering the chance to become a permanent part of the team.

Accounts Administrator Responsibilities:
- Undertake a range of day-to-day finance and general administration tasks
- Monitor customer accounts and proactively chase outstanding payments
- Allocate payments from bank statements to the relevant customer accounts
- Take and process customer card payments accurately and securely
- Carry out credit control activity to help minimise outstanding debt
- Use accounting software to process and record financial transactions
- Raise and issue sales invoices and customer statements
- Process and approve supplier invoices
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
- Handle incoming customer and account queries in a professional and helpful manner
- Scan, process and maintain delivery notes and other finance documentation
- Maintain accurate customer account records, ensuring all activity and communication is correctly logged
Accounts Administrator Skills and Experience:
- Immediately available and happy to consider a temporary to permanent opportunity
- Previous office administration experience is essential, with confidence answering and making telephone calls
- Comfortable contacting customers to follow up and chase overdue payments
- Some basic accounts or bookkeeping knowledge would be beneficial, although full training can be provided for someone keen to develop in this area
- Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident and professional communicator, both internally and when dealing with customers
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Organised, reliable and willing to get involved in a varied mix of accounts and general office administration
