About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic & hardworking Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic adult Outpatient Therapy MSK team at Mid Yorks Hospitals NHS Trust.
The rotations include MSK Outpatients, Gym/Hydrotherapy, and Rheumatology. The successful candidates will work across any of the three sites within the Trust.
We offer regular in-service training, supervision, and peer support for CPD from highly specialised, experienced Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners. The role also involves opportunities for service development and participation in MSK OP Therapies\’ Special Interest groups.
Main duties
- Provide physiotherapeutic assessment of MSK patients with various clinical presentations, symptoms, and in different settings.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans based on differential diagnosis.
- Offer peer support and supervision to team members.
- Supervise and educate physiotherapy students on placement.
- Manage own workload efficiently, demonstrating good organizational skills.

Progress management and discharge
- Progress treatment plans towards goals and discharge patients appropriately.
- Use reflective practice to improve care.
- Contribute to discharge planning within the multidisciplinary team.
Patient clinical records
- Maintain accurate records following professional standards.
- Ensure documentation demonstrates clinical reasoning.
