A leading engineering company in Cumbria is looking for an Electronic Design Engineer on a 3-6 month contract to support new project development.

Job Role

1. Design and develop electronic circuits for intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe systems.
2. Circuit design, prototyping, and verification testing.
3. Create schematics and ensure compliance with EMC and safety standards.
4. Review PCB layouts and assist in firmware development (Embedded C/C++ beneficial).

Required Skills

1. Analogue & digital circuit design expertise.
2. Altium license.
3. Experience with EMC, functional safety, and op-amp circuits.
4. Knowledge of SPI, UART, I2C, and SMPS is an advantage.
