Duration: 3 Months Contract
Rate: £300-£320pd OUTSIDEIR35

Zenovo have partnered with a leading technology company and are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer.
Our partner are looking to enhance their development pipeline across Windows and Linux environments.
The ideal candidate will design implement, and maintain strong CI/CD workflows using GitLab, manage GitLab, gitlab runners, runners, and oversee artifact repositories.
The company operate in the UK and Europe and are about to embark on some major development project, as such they need to bolster their in house capability. They mainly use on premise servers for their technology, with various programming and software practices used.
You will be responsible for automating the software development lifecycle, including building, testing, deploying, and monitoring code changes. You will help the team by catching bugs early and ensures that the code deployed to production meets established internal standards.
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD
- Experience managing GitLab Runners on both Windows and Linux
- Familiarity with Sonatype Nexus or CodeArtifact or JFrog (for setup, maintenance, and permissions)
- Expertise in scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Good understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies
- Experience of Linux
Nice To Have
- Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, etc
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Ansible)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Containerization experience with Docker
