Job Title: Telemarketing Executive
Based at: Quartix Limited, Newtown Powys
Reports to: Direct Telemarketing Team Leader
Responsible for: Not applicable
Job Purpose
To assist Quartix in line with their goals & objectives around new business acquisition. Lead generation via cold calling, arranging meetings for the sales team and encourage potential customers to engage with us. To sell the Quartix product to customers through telesales. Create a positive purchase experience in line with the Company ethos to assist customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Making a minimum of 100 calls per day, generating new sales leads through existing customer contacts/data lists and company research for either yourself to convert or a member of the Sales Team
- Establishing individual prospect requirements to enable an effective sale
- Performing telephone web-based demonstrations of the Quartix product and its benefits
- Ensure acquisition of paperwork & relevant documents to finalise a sale
- Meet and exceed clearly defined KPI’s as set by Sales Manager
- Supporting the UK sales team to generate new prospect interest for follow up by the Sales Executives
- Contacting potential customers through agreed sales methods and targets
- Maintaining an ongoing prospect list of potential prospects
- Provide customers with relevant sales information specific to their requirements
General Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with other sales departments
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities to Sales Executives & Sales Manager
- Develop ideas and put forward to development team for improved database and system processes
- A commitment to equal opportunities
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and suppliers
- Contribution towards improvement in procedures and systems
- Learn and adapt to new systems as introduced by the business
- Provide cover for team where appropriate
- Creation or Update of LinkedIn profiles to be used for regular sharing of Quartix marketing content and building brand presence in relevant networks
- Ad hoc assignments as required
