About Us
Mid Wales Cleaning Ltd was established in Llanfair Caereinon during 2021. We have a variety of clients both locally and in surrounding areas. Our clients range from domestic, commercial offices, holiday homes, one-off deep cleans as well as after tenancy cleans. Due to the constant expanding we have decided to take on a few more cleaners. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, including commercial spaces and holiday lets. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail essential - this is not a "just wipe and go" job.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt and debris.
- Carry out commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by treating clients with professionalism.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic/commercial and holiday let cleaning preferred but not essential.
- Loyal and trustworthy as well as DBS checked (please attach certificate to CV).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Willingness to undertake any necessary training related to cleaning techniques or equipment use.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites.
