Assist the Neighbourhood Operations Manager/Officer in the management and delivery of an efficient, effective and customer focused service. To manage resources to enable the smooth operation of the functions in line with service delivery and improvement plans. The post holder will assist with the development and delivery of Neighbourhood Services which supports the Council’s vision, values and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, programming and scheduling of all operations.
- Responsible on a daily basis to prioritise the workload, taking into account all legal maintenance requirements, Health and Safety issues, service level agreements and site-specific requirements in accordance with agreed schedules.
- Record, investigate, and report on complaints received in relation to service area and take corrective action where necessary.
- Supervise employees including time keeping, time recording, absence management and performance management in line with Council policy, and assist with the preparation of the weekly payroll summary in conjunction with business support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a third level qualification HNC/D or higher or equivalent.
- Or Applicants must have a minimum 5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) or equivalent including English Language and a numeracy-based subject.
