About the Role

At Panda, we deliver waste and recycling transport services supporting local communities. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Quarrington team. Operating from our regional depot, this role is for a logistics professional focused on safety and service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Class 1 articulated vehicles to transport regional waste and recycling.
  • Compliance: Complete daily walk‑around checks, report defects, and maintain digital tachograph records under EU regulations.
  • Safety First: Strictly adhere to transport laws, road regulations, and site safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Act as a professional company ambassador at all collection and delivery points.

What We’re Looking For

  • Requirements: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence, up‑to‑date Driver CPC, and a Digi Tacho card.
  • Experience: Proven Class 1 driving experience (waste, walking floor, or bulk transport experience is highly advantageous).
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of UK driver compliance, WTD regulations, and defect reporting.
  • Attitude: Reliable, self‑motivated, with excellent communication skills.
