Your Role And Responsibilities
You will:
- Influence and shape the delivery and promotion of the national programme for Reducing Parental Conflict (RPC) in Suffolk.
- Work from a combination of office-based, remotely from home, and travel across the County engaging with managers and teams in both Family Support and Social Care, as well as partners in schools, health, and the voluntary sector.
- Lead the Family Support and Social Care services to develop our practice, processes, and systems to improve the way we deliver interventions to families for RPC, and measure the impacts achieved via evaluation.
- Coordinate the ongoing training programme for RPC and the associated training in Triple P Enhanced (support for practitioners) and Triple P transitions.
- Ensure that all current staff trained deliver training to families and other professional staff in all agencies.
- Complete the Quarterly Management information returns to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Your time will be split between the Workforce development team, responsible for the coordination of the reducing parental conflict programme in Suffolk, Operational teams, and the Multi-Agency safeguarding Hub (MASH), where you will provide advice and guidance on RPC to other professionals and families that may not meet the threshold of Child Protection (CP), Child In Need (CIN), and Family Support.
There is scope to develop the role and the delivery of RPC support. You will need to be a suitably skilled, experienced practitioner to lead the operational and practice changes needed to ensure Family Support, Social Care, school, health, and voluntary sector practitioners are well placed to help families deal with issues of Reducing Parental Conflict.
