Yard Spotter
Mid Lane Carriers is hiring 1 morning yard spotter/shifter. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that will help organize our yard. This individual will work efficiently and independently with great communication with our dispatchers and drivers. This is for morning shift position only. Our company is based out of Wilmington, CA, about 10 minutes away from the Ports of LA/LB. We are a family-owned company looking to grow and expand our fleet. Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required by supervisor.
- Safely operate a yard spotter truck and forklift
- Stage, park, and organize containers in our yard
- Report issues/accidents to dispatcher
- Yard inventory of containers and chassis
- Check statuses of reefers and gensets
- Stacking and unstacking chassis
- Able to repair minor issues on chassis
Day Shift:
Monday-Friday
9:00am-6:00pm
