Mid Gavin Nursery is currently looking for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner with experience to work in our 0-5 year old rooms. The position is full time - 40 hours a week.
The successful candidate should be able to:
- Have excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills
- Nurture and interact with young children ensuring they reach their full potential
- Plan, evaluate and record learning experiences
- Have an understanding of Child Development from birth onwards
- Work effectively using initiative
- Be confident when speaking and updating parents
- Ensure paperwork is up to date
- Have knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and Pre Birth to Three
- Have motivation to develop areas within the room
You will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment which allows children to thrive and learn in a warm and welcoming setting.
The successful candidate must be qualified with an HNC Early Education and Childcare or SVQ3 equivalent. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications - negotiable.
Please note that the candidate will be asked to undergo a Disclosure Scotland PVG check and will need to register with SSSC once they are employed with the company.
