Mid Essex ITT is seeking a new Lead Subject Tutors (LSTs) in Computer Science. LSTs meet with our trainee teachers each week to educate and support them with their subject knowledge development as well as being part of the wider Mid Essex ITT Leadership team. The role comes with additional incentives including financial remuneration for your time, membership of a subject association and ongoing training through Mid Essex ITT and the National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers.

Time commitment
Before applying, please discuss your application with your headteacher/employer and ensure that they are able to release you for three hours per week to fulfil the role. This would be on a Thursday afternoon (for two hours) plus an hour of preparation time. The successful candidates should be available to attend a training afternoon on Tuesday 7th July 2026 at Notley High School.
