A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Corporate Solicitor

37 Hours per week

Scale PO6 and in the range SCP 42-45 (Currently £51,802.00 – £54,970.75)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role sits within the new Business Support division within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate.

Reporting to the Legal & Democratic Services Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of and management of an efficient and effective legal services function to ensure the Council remains compliant with legislation.

You will manage the Legal Services team to ensure high quality professional legal service standards and performance targets are met and maintained.

You will attend Council and other committee meetings as necessary.
