We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Business Support Officer to join our Environment and Enforcement team at Carlu Close, Willand. We are looking to recruit a team focused individual with a drive for problem solving and an investigative nature. The role provides different challenges and a wide spectrum of responsibilities within the parking services and environment and enforcement services team. The role includes administrative work either by hybrid or office working. This is a rewarding and challenging post and you will need excellent organisation and time management skills to maintain deadlines. The ideal candidate must have the ability to think on their feet, take their own initiative, be resilient and provide a structured professional service.

As a Business Support Officer your duty will include but are not limited to:

  • Initial investigation of reports into environmental crime and appeals.
  • Notice processing including queries, appeals and case progression.
  • Managing live workbooks in relation to permits, renewals and payments to parking services.
  • Requisition of services or goods via procurement systems.
  • Use of specialist software in relation to enforcement cases.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and case files.
  • Assist the Environment and Enforcement Manager with the allocation of workload to the District Officer team.
  • Assisting members of the public with enquiries via email and telephone.
