Do you have a background in driving, enjoy engaging with members of the public and have a good knowledge of the district? We have a vacancy that would be perfect for you. The position of our Road Sweeper has become available. This position requires you to hold a HGV class 1 or 2 licence and provides street cleansing and sweeping for communities within Mid Devon. You’ll get to explore the idyllic area of Mid Devon, ensuring we maintain clean and clear highway routes throughout the district.

Responsibilities
- To drive HGV, LGV Category C and non‑LGV vehicle when required.
- To undertake daily vehicle checks.
- To undertake road sweeping duties as required.
About you
- Class 1 or 2 licence
- Driver CPC card
- Demonstrable experience of HGV/LGV driving, however we do welcome newly qualified drivers.
