Senior Capital Projects Manager – NHS Band 8a

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Project Management professional or Architect to join the Capital Development Team within the Estates & Facilities Division at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The team is working on a substantial Estates Capital Programme, primarily focused on RAAC risk mitigation and refurbishment works.

Reporting to the Head of Capital Development, you will be responsible for delivering key projects within the Trust’s Capital Programme by managing a team of Capital Project Managers. You will collaborate with all sections of the Estates and Facilities Division and liaise with Trust staff and other project professionals. Additionally, you will deputise for the Head of Capital Development as needed.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated building Project Manager or Architect with experience in managing a team, design, project management, and strategic management. If you enjoy a challenge and are looking for a varied and fulfilling role, we would like to hear from you.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its services and has numerous exciting projects, including a major hospital redevelopment. The main site is Leighton Hospital in Crewe, which hosts the Capital Development Team.

It manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust was nationally recognized for the \’Be Safe Be EquiPPEd\’ campaign, which promoted PPE safety.
