Overview
We are looking for a suitably qualified Technician, with relevant practical experience, to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Undertake maintenance, improvement and minor capital works on all facilities across MSE to support our clinical teams in caring for patients.
- advise, instruct and train colleagues in the safe operation of equipment and systems.
- Provide advice and technical support to colleagues on the availability, suitability and maintainability of plant and equipment, in support of patient care.
- Liaise with service contractors, arrange access to areas, and coordinate shutdown of essential plant and systems to facilitate ongoing maintenance, respond to breakdowns and facilitate repairs.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of technical data, specifications and issues relating to a wide range of Estates plant, equipment and systems.
- Technician qualification and relevant practical experience.
