The Broomfield Hospital Sterile Supplies Department is a friendly, fast‑paced unit providing high‑quality sterile packs and surgical instruments to the Trust’s Theatre complex and a range of clinical areas.
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for motivated, proactive individuals to join our dedicated team. We’re looking for people who are methodical, meticulous and committed to delivering an exceptional decontamination service. In this role, you will wash, inspect, pack and sterilise surgical instruments, playing a vital part in ensuring the safety and quality of care for our patients and customers.

The Sterile Services Department based at Broomfield Hospital is open 24 hours (Monday to Friday) and 8:00am to 4:00pm on a Saturday,
Sunday and Bank Holidays.
You will be required to work on a rota basis with shifts between
the above hours (Monday to Friday), Bank Holidays and Weekends and night shifts. These hours are subject to change to meet the needs of the Trust.
You are required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. Experience is an advantage however this is not essential. You must be able to follow processes and instruction while being self-motivated and showing initiative.
