Are you caring, compassionate and hard-working? Would you like to help deliver high-quality care to babies and their families across mid and south Essex?, As a MSW, you will assist the qualified staff in delivering a caring and effective, patient focused service in keeping with the aims, objectives, and standards of the Trust.

You will ensure that there is a safe care environment by preparing and clearing rooms and equipment with particular reference to infection control and safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff.

You’ll be a key part of the maternity team and will ensure you communicate with teammates in an open, and effective way to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of people who use health and care services and their carers.

Please note – this role involves shift/weekend work., * Performs clinical baseline observations

  • Records and documents episodes of care in accordance with Guidelines

  • Liaises with other departments and members of the multidisciplinary team

  • Complete further training to add additional skills to your repertoire inc infant feeding support, phlebotomy, etc, We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
