Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team on Lister Ward at Basildon Hospital.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you\’ll play a vital role in supporting our patients and nursing team. You\’ll help ensure that our colorectal nurses\’ outpatient clinics run smoothly, delivering compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining patients\’ privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
Working alongside qualified staff, you\’ll assist in a wide range of care duties—including personal care, moving and handling, mouth and eye care, pressure area care, and supporting patient wellbeing. You\’ll also undertake both clinical and non-clinical competencies following training and assessment, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
