Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of our friendly team. We take pride in nurturing a supportive environment in which to work while ensuring we deliver a high quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and control all aspects of the Domestic Departments Service Level Agreements and support the total domestic operational service delivery model by ensuring that works are carried out by domestic staff to their job specifications; monitor quality of services at all times while promoting good business relationships between Management and Staff and supporting the patient experience.
  • Work within the MSE Domestic Services Team with access to training to develop your skillset.
  • Ensure cleaning duties and frequencies are carried out based on the 50 elements as specified by the National Specification for Cleanliness Standards (NSC).
  • Ensure that areas, wards and departments are ready to be audited at any time.
  • Participate in daily joint cleaning audits and ensure quality monitoring is conducted in line with Trust policy; ensure rectification plans are completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in a 7 day week management rota as scheduled and approved by management.
  • Understands Domestic Service Level Agreements between Estates & Facilities Business unit, wards, departments and satellite buildings to ensure services are delivered accordingly and cost-effectively.
  • Manage a diverse team and resolve any team-related issues.
  • Ensure that all staff maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff members.
