Connecting and Protecting People, Microwave Products Group (MPG) is a leading global provider of mission‑critical engineered electronic components and subsystems comprised of five business units in six manufacturing locations. Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications‑based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.
BSC specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave Solutions, utilising core and advanced filter technologies as well as their integration in higher level sub‑assemblies for the latest RF and microwave products to connect and protect people in defence, communications, aerospace and space.

Maximising our exceptional engineering talent, knowledge and skills from across our OpCo’s and with the appointment of a Chief Technical Officer and 4 Chief Engineers, our roadmaps are driving us to deliver both tomorrow’s products today and, for those new products to provide our long‑term significant growth opportunities. To this end, we’re recruiting for a newly created role leading the successful implementation of R&D technical projects (on‑time, in‑full, to budget) through co‑ordinating assigned engineers (including cross‑site teams) to deliver end to end project delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
- Key project customer contact with internal/external customers and project participants.
- Preparing regular progress reports, documentation, and communication updates.
- Organising and chair Technical Reviews enabling full review and agreed action outcomes.
- Developing, setting, maintaining and communicating engineering quality standards, systems, processes and documentation delivering consistency as standard.
To Be Successful You’ll Have/are
- Multi‑discipline experience in an engineering role.
- Implementation and management of multiple, concurrent projects, throughout a project lifecycle.
- Developing and maintain customer relationships, managing expectations and resolving issues.
- Managing assigned reports to achieve required goals.
- Working to and delivering against engineering, quality and customer standards.
- Organising and contributing to technical reviews and discussions.
- UK or Nato national with right to work in the UK with required security clearance.
- Prepared to adjust working day to accommodate global time‑frames enabling cross‑site discussions.
