Connecting and Protecting People, Microwave Products Group (MPG) is a leading global provider of mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems comprised of five business units in six manufacturing locations. MPG EUROPE specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave Solutions, utilising core and advanced filter technologies as well as their integration in higher level sub-assemblies for the latest RF and microwave products to connect and protect people in defence, communications, aerospace and space.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to oversee the development, delivery, and management of our MPG and MPG Europe quality strategy and KPIs. You will manage our QMS, support inspection, quality engineering, supplier quality, and quality deliverables across the business. Initial goals include supporting the delivery of our AS9100 certification compliance and audit, and continuing the development of our Quality team.
What You’ll Bring
- A ‘Level equivalent qualification level.
- Certified Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Managing internal and external audits and certification bodies.
- Implementing and improving quality processes.
- Non-conformance management, root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Developing and implementing Quality Plans.
- Implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- People management skills to lead, motivate and develop reports.
