Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.

BSC specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave Solutions, utilising core and advanced filter technologies as well as their integration in higher level sub-assemblies for the latest RF and microwave products.

OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking to welcome a new team member within our Production team, into the role of ASSEMBLER. You’ll work as part of our highly skilled, friendly and customer focused Production team to assemble our filters, connecting and protecting people around the world. This is a days based role.

You’ll Do This By Completing Responsibilities To:

  • Assemble precision electronic parts to build filters (including SMD components) using specification sheets, production and engineering drawings and following work instructions to complete assigned tasks for each filter process within required timeframes.
  • Use equipment including microscopes, solder dispensers and soldering irons, tweezers, cutters, scalpels, screwdrivers, hot plates, ovens, heat guns to assemble and build filters to required standards.
  • Conduct electronic fault finding, highlighting and where able resolving product issues and errors ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role or an interest/experience in soldering, model making, taking items apart and putting them back together again.
  • Confident and organised, wanting to learn our processes, how they work and what you’ll need to do to achieve the right standard.
  • Patient and methodical in putting things together and when necessary, tinkering/adjusting them to get the right result.
  • Enjoy problem solving, finding faults and suggesting solutions.
  • Have a high attention to detail, combined with a passion for tidiness in your work area.
  • Enjoy making positive teamwork contributions to our highly motivated Production teams, delivering continuous improvement and meeting targets.
  • Previous experience in these responsibilities is advantageous, but we’re also interested in people keen to learn and who want to contribute to a growing company. Full training is provided.
