We are currently hiring a Shipping Clerk for a 1st shift position. This role is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, and helping ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping documentation for accuracy
- Create shipping labels, packing slips, and bills of lading
- Enter shipment information into the computer/ERP system
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are ready for shipment
- Package, label, and stage products for pickup
- Schedule and communicate with freight carriers as needed
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and report damaged or missing products
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
Requirements:
- 1+ year of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or shipping software is a plus
- Ability to accurately complete shipping paperwork
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
