Software Engineer
United Kingdom (Remote with visits)
Inside IR35 - Initially until the end of the year but likely to be extended.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and maintain robust CI/CD build infrastructure utilizing Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
- Develop comprehensive Python scripts and automation tooling to streamline engineering workflows and reduce manual overhead.
- Administer, tune, and troubleshoot Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance across the engineering compute estate.
- Manage and optimize large-scale source control repositories using both Git and Perforce (P4).
- Configure and resolve bottlenecks within Network Storage / NFS environments supporting heavy, data-intensive compute workloads.
- Core Technical Requirements
- Operating Systems: Deep hands-on experience with Linux administration and systems architecture.
- Development & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for infrastructure automation and tooling.
- Version Control: Extensive experience managing enterprise codebases with Git and Perforce (P4).
- CI/CD: Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining deployment pipelines in Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
- Storage Systems: Solid understanding of network storage principles, particularly NFS mount configurations and troubleshooting. xgikmsk
