A global leader in fabless semiconductor innovation is seeking a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join its highly experienced international RF design team working on next-generation 6G cellular RF products in advanced CMOS technologies. The company develops cutting-edge semiconductor solutions powering billions of connected devices worldwide across AI, wireless connectivity, high-performance computing, automotive, and data centre applications. Scope & Responsibilities
- Define specifications, architecture, circuit design, implementation, and verification of complete RFIC sub-systems.
- Develop innovative RF signal path and synthesizer architectures for next-generation 6G products.
- Perform transistor-level RFIC design and optimization in advanced CMOS technologies.
- Collaborate closely with RF system and application engineers to define product specifications and performance targets.
- Drive RFIC integration within complex RF SoC environments.
- Support layout implementation and provide guidance on RF layout optimization.
- Work closely with global engineering teams across multiple locations and disciplines.
- Contribute to silicon validation, performance analysis, and design improvements.
Competencies
- Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proven track record delivering high-performance CMOS RF transceivers into mass production.
- Strong expertise in RFIC design for cellular or wireless communication systems.
- Experience designing in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm and below preferred).
- Excellent understanding of RF system analysis and RF performance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of RF SoC integration challenges and layout optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment and EM simulation tools.
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within global engineering teams.
