Our client is a global semiconductor company. The client requires candidates to work on-site full time and can’t provide sponsorship for this position.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a software and simulation engineer with experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
- The role will be working in the design team alongside our device design experts using a range of tools and techniques.
- This role will span from model building through full simulation automation and optimization.
- The role will require extensive knowledge of a range of machine learning techniques including multi-parameter optimization and inverse design.
- Automation of test data analysis and correlation to design variants is also necessary to re-calibrate and refine the models.
Key Requirements:
- A PhD in Computing Science, Physics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Deep knowledge and implementation of machine learning with examples of collaborative working.
- Exceptional skills in data analysis, along with outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
- Report writing enabling clear and impactful dissemination of complex information.
- Experienced in Python or similar programming languages for efficient simulation, automation and data analysis.
- Ability to build, document and deploy modelling and simulation tools.
