Our client is an international semiconductor company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering efforts on complex research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Optimize algorithms and ensure the scalability and robustness of research prototypes and systems
  • Coordinate closely with researchers to align engineering work with research objectives and project goals
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and research staff
  • Contribute to technical publications and assist in preparing research documentation
  • Maintain and improve research infrastructure, tools, and workflows
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, engineering best practices, and related fields

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science or related subject
  • Track record of contributing to top publications or open-source projects
  • Extensive experience researching machine learning algorithms and systems
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar
  • Proven ability to lead engineering projects and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or technical staff
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities, including technical documentation
  • Experience with optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs)
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX)
  • Experience with scalable system design and deployment in research or production environments
  • Exposure to chip design or applied AI research
