The Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineering (FAE) Manager / Leader to drive customer technical engagement across the Greater China region. This role will lead regional FAE teams and act as the primary technical interface with key customers, including Tier 1 smartphone and consumer electronics OEMs and ODMs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling design-in, integration, and production ramp of advanced actuator systems and controller IC solutions within customer platforms. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and excellent customer-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Technical Engagement
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and key customers in Greater China
- Support customer design-in activities for actuator systems and controller IC solutions
- Provide guidance on system integration, performance optimisation, and issue resolution
- Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable inputs for internal engineering teams
- FAE Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional FAE team
- Establish robust processes for customer support, escalation handling, and technical documentation
- Develop team expertise across actuator systems, controller ICs, and associated algorithms
- Design-In & Product Adoption
- Drive successful design wins and product adoption across smartphone and emerging applications
- Collaborate with customers during architecture definition, development, and validation phases
- Support product qualification, testing, and high-volume production ramp
