We are looking for an experienced senior RF electronics engineer to join the team, possessing the experience necessary to play a key role in designing, building and testing new RF-based systems and products. In addition to the technical skills necessary, you will be comfortable explaining complex technical matters to non-technical customers. The role provides the opportunity to use your technical skills to work with a team to follow exciting new ideas through from concept into reality. You will have the satisfaction of working with a supportive and experienced team of subject matter experts, in a state-of-the-art electronics lab containing the latest test and measurement equipment (spectrum/network analysis/anechoic chambers).
Key desired skills and experience:
- Good MEng in electronic engineering (or similar discipline).
- 6+ years post-graduate experience in designing RF-based circuits (e.g. for radios and/or radars).
- Experience developing products and modules from concept through to successful design verification.
- Good microwave, RF and analogue design and simulation skills.
- RF amplifier, filter and frequency synthesiser design.
Advantageous but not essential:
- Radio and/or radar systems knowledge.
- Team leadership and/or line management experience.
- Digital circuit design skills.
- Experience of mm-wave frequency design.
