Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching through lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical sessions.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans and resources to keep them current and aligned with industry standards.
- Deliver skills training, demonstrate techniques and the correct use of equipment related to vehicle refinishing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and review, ensuring it meets the needs of students, employers and industry.
- Work collaboratively within the Automotive team and the wider Technology curriculum team to provide a cohesive learning experience across all provision types, including young people, adults and apprentices.
- Maintain assessment processes and uphold the integrity of student evaluation.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification specific to automotive refinishing.
- Relevant industry experience and subject knowledge.
- Clear purpose and flexibility in working hours when required.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate, or willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
