Location: Battersea area, London (Hybrid – Tue/Wed/Thu onsite, Mon/Fri remote)

Contract: 12–18 months (with possible extension)

We are seeking a Quality Engineer (SDET) to drive automation and quality engineering for global New Product Introduction (NPI) content management across 23+ international markets. This role sits at the intersection of CX Operations, Product, and Engineering, with a focus on building scalable test automation frameworks and data validation systems that replace highly manual QA processes tied to product launches across Amazon and internal platforms. You will play a critical role in designing automation-first solutions, improving data quality at scale, and partnering with engineering teams to build sustainable systems that ensure accuracy, consistency, and speed across global deployments.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

  • Design and implement automation frameworks to validate product content, catalog data, and NPI workflows across Amazon and internal systems
  • Build Python-based tools and scripts to automate data validation, QA checks, and reporting across large-scale product catalogs
  • Develop and maintain API-level testing and validation, ensuring data integrity across distributed systems
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to embed quality engineering into system design, shifting from reactive QA to proactive quality practices
  • Create scalable test strategies covering data pipelines, integrations, and content workflows across multiple regions
  • Identify and eliminate manual QA processes by building reusable, self-service automation tools for CX stakeholders
  • Support BAU operations through automation, while continuously improving reliability, coverage, and efficiency
  • Advocate for CX teams by translating operational pain points into technical automation solutions

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (Top 3 Must-Haves)

  • Automation & SDET Expertise – 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering / SDET roles with a strong focus on building automation frameworks and reducing manual QA
  • Strong Python Development Skills – Proven experience writing scalable Python scripts/tools for automation, data validation, and workflow optimization
  • API & Data Validation Experience – Hands-on experience testing APIs, validating large datasets, and working with product catalog or structured data systems

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience with Amazon marketplace / product catalog systems
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
  • Experience working with rapidly evolving schemas and data models, with strategies to future-proof validation systems
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) for automation and productivity
  • Experience supporting global platforms with region-specific requirements (localization, compliance, etc.)

Salary: We don't have fixed salary ranges; we tailor the economic offer based on the candidate's salary expectations. In this case, you will let us know your monthly service fee as a CONTRACTOR, and that value will be taken into account when making the offer.
