Reports to: Quality Manager
Primary job responsibility: Inspection of products per customer specifications and drawings.
Essential functions of position :
- Inspect parts using laser micrometers, pin gages, ring gages, rulers, vision systems, and other applicable inspection gages.
- Perform on-line start-up, in-process, and final inspections of extruded products to determine conformance to defined specifications.
- Identify and document non-conformances to defined specifications.
- Apply and follow ANSI and C = 0 sampling plans.
- Interpret technical drawings, symbols, and specifications.
- Preparation and completion of Quality documentation.
- Adherence to GDP guidelines.
- Other duties as necessary to support on-time delivery and department daily operations
