Your Role: As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will:
- Execute regression and smoke testing across web and mobile workflows to ensure release quality.
- Validate completed tickets against acceptance criteria and document bugs clearly for engineering review.
- Maintain and improve QA checklists, test scenarios, and internal documentation.
- Investigate product issues escalated by internal support teams and reproduce reported bugs.
- Resolve minor data or configuration issues directly when appropriate.
- Escalate validated engineering defects with clear documentation to minimize interruption to core engineers.
- Complete low-complexity development tasks including front-end updates, minor bug fixes, validation rules, and internal tooling tasks.
- Support testing and implementation of scoped product enhancements.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
- 1–3 years of technical experience in software QA, support engineering, or junior software development.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate technical issues independently.
- Comfortable reading and understanding application workflows.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Ability to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City, and in shifting schedules.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Preferred skills/expertise:
- Basic coding ability preferred (JavaScript / TypeScript / SQL exposure helpful).
- Experience supporting web and mobile applications.
- Exposure to release management or DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to assist in internal tooling and process improvements.
