Your Role:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide all necessary data in order to process payroll or final pay in a timely and accurate manner following legal and company standards. Specifically, you will:
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.
- Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
- Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.
- Address and resolve assigned payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.
- Support the preparation of month-end, year-end, and fiscal year-end reports.
- Perform payroll-account reconciliations and various routine administrative and clerical tasks as required.
- Collaborate actively towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a Business-related course (Business majors must have at least 24 units in accounting/taxation).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- High integrity, with no history of fraud, malversation, or misappropriation.
Preferred skills/expertise:
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective time management and the ability to deliver accurate results under pressure.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong willingness to undergo training.
