Your Role:
As a Business Continuity Risk Officer, you will:
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) program.
Facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA), comprehensive risk assessments, and continuity planning activities to protect critical processes.
Coordinate business continuity plan (BCP) reviews, disaster recovery (DR) exercises, and recovery testing activities across multiple business units.
Monitor ongoing BCM risks, issues, and strategic action plans to ensure effective operational resilience.
Support active incident response activities, escalation protocols, and formal post-incident reviews.
Maintain up-to-date BCM documentation, management reports, and strict corporate compliance requirements.
Partner directly with Risk, Operations, IT, and various business stakeholders to build and strengthen organizational recovery readiness.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
3–6 years of hands-on experience in Business Continuity, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, or related risk management functions.
Strong foundational knowledge of BCP, disaster recovery (DR), crisis management, and standard risk frameworks.
Proven experience coordinating risk reviews, technical testing activities, and multi-stakeholder discussions.
Demonstrated capability to work independently and manage diverse BCM activities with minimal supervision.
Direct experience delivering, executing, or contributing to an ISO 22301 or equivalent operational resilience certification program.
Experience designing crisis communication frameworks, response strategies, and structured corporate escalation protocols.
Preferred skills/expertise:
Professional experience working within banking, financial services, insurance, or similar highly regulated industries.
Active ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification is highly advantageous.
