Your Role:
As a Corporate IT Engineer (S5), you will:
- Manage server maintenance activities, including scheduled reboots, updates, routine health checks, and maintenance windows to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Administer the organization's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform by configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting managed devices across the enterprise.
- Own endpoint patch management using Endpoint Central, ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and up to date.
- Process and manage application access requests through Okta, including handling non-automated provisioning requests and access exceptions.
- Support onboarding for temporary new hires by preparing user accounts, access permissions, and equipment to ensure a smooth first-day experience.
- Administer and troubleshoot Okta and Google Workspace environments, including user provisioning, configuration, and access management.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and standard operating processes to improve knowledge sharing and reduce repeat issues.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2/3 support teams by managing escalations, providing technical expertise, and contributing to continuous service improvements.
- Support the Security Technology team by responding to after-hours escalations involving security camera systems.
- Independently manage your workload and priorities while delivering high-quality technical support and infrastructure services.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role, with demonstrated ownership of infrastructure or platform responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience managing servers, including patching, updates, maintenance windows, scheduled reboots, and health monitoring.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or endpoint management platforms for device deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with patch management solutions such as Endpoint Central or equivalent platforms.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management using Okta, including user provisioning and access administration.
- Experience administering Google Workspace, including user management and configuration.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, endpoint management, and identity platforms.
- Self-directed, dependable, and accountable, with the ability to manage your own workload and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, with Monday and Tuesday as rest days.
Preferred skills/expertise:
- Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
- Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Exposure to additional identity management, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise infrastructure platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional IT certifications, and hands-on work experience.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certifications, or Okta Certifications.
- Strong foundational understanding of server administration, endpoint/MDM management, patch management, and identity and access management platforms.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
