- Win customers at key marketing & sales beats: Plan & execute category sales and go-to-market plans that maximize key market level seasonal selling beats (Back to School, Holiday, Spring).
- Lead Silicon Consumer Category Partnership: Effectively partner with silicon partners to drive ecosystem strategy and GTM alignment in non-DM7 markets.
- Define and execute silicon engagement rhythm for non-DM7 markets.
- Land the right assortment of PCs to engage customers/retail partners: Partner with Sales to land the right device assortment by retail partner, executed to WW guidance & planograms.
- Leverage existing product portfolio and line logic to create success for and with our partners.
- Plan variants with top accounts to drive differentiation, gain unit commitment & win share.
- Win share with compelling retail offers & programs: Land strong consumer promotional plans to stay competitive and drive volume, mix and share.
- Drive incremental sell thru via well designed and funded programs.
- Optimize conversion: Partner with Consumer Channel Partner Marketing to drive always on in store & online marketing that lands key Windows messaging.
- Leverage opportunities to increase attach of key Microsoft services, such as Microsoft 365 and Game Pass.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience.
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to deliver and influence others internally at Microsoft and externally with retail partners.
- Confidently represent the Windows business with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
- Successful track record in managing and transforming a consumer category, meeting sales and profitability targets.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed international environments.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing budgets, market data, and deal opportunities.
- Experience planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive results.
- Experience in category marketing, product marketing, and/or sales.
- Experience with consumer device sales is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about building businesses, thriving in fast-paced environments.
