As a Partner Solution Sales professional, you will focus on Microsoft’s core Solution Area of Security within the SMB segment in the UK and Ireland markets. You will drive opportunities from commit to complete sales stages (stages 2–3 of the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology, MCEM), operating at scale across a portfolio of high‑performing CSP (Cloud Solution Providers) partners. This role accelerates career growth, deepens business acumen, hones selling skills, and leverages your Microsoft Security knowledge.

You will develop and execute a Partner Solution Area Sales Plan with assigned partners, driving sales through co‑sell strategies to achieve quarterly CSA (Cloud Solution Area) FRA across the SMB business. You will lead your partners’ commercial performance for Microsoft Security and drive sustainable sales impact for customers. A key responsibility is driving CSP revenue through your partner portfolio. Your role involves acting as a trusted advisor and business leader, developing a joint business strategy between Microsoft and your partners, improving consultative selling skills through MCEM training, and actively pursuing learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Cloud Solution Area (CSA) pipeline with assigned partners and leverage investments to drive pipeline velocity in the SMB Security business.
  • Be accountable for Security revenue forecasts across your partner portfolio.
  • Drive CSP revenue growth through a scalable portfolio of partners (Distributors, Telcos, Scale Solution Providers).
  • Coach partners on the value of Microsoft solution area plays and the corresponding sales levers to drive Reach, Frequency and Yield.
  • Responsible for top deals with assigned partners (above $ threshold) and update information in MSX (Microsoft Seller Experience tool).
  • Utilize investments and incentives to accelerate deal progression and encourage deployment and consumption.
  • Achieve 40% of the total dollar value of all won/completed opportunities through co‑sell with assigned partners.
  • Support partners in advancing key deals, removing commercial blockers, and addressing competitive challenges.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and extensive experience in core sales, partner sales, industry or solution selling, or business development; or equivalent experience.
  • Sales leadership experience, understanding and translating sales strategy, building depth and breadth of sales motions.
  • Strategic planning and driving business impact.
  • Sales execution, including owning and driving pipeline and forecasting, leading strategic engagements, and mastering co‑selling with partners.
  • Partner enablement and collaboration skills; deep understanding of Microsoft partner channel and different partner types (Distribution, Telco, SSPs).
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, influence, coach and lead Microsoft partners towards impact and success.
  • Leading with a growth mindset and an always‑learning culture.
  • Technical requirements:
    • Security Solution expertise: deep understanding of Microsoft Security and Security workloads.
    • Technical intensity: SC‑900 certification.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Informatics), Business/Economics (Sales), or related field AND extensive experience in IT‑related industry sales, partner channel sales, and professional coaching/mentoring.
  • Workload Fundamental Certification.
  • Extensive experience in complex consultative or solutions selling.
