As part of this mission, we are seeking a high-impact Strategic Account Technology Strategist (ATS) to lead our technology partnership with, one of our most strategic global financial services customers.

The Strategic Account Technology Strategist (ATS) serves as Microsoft's lead transformation advisor for one of our most strategic customers.

The role exists to help customers accelerate from AI ambition to measurable business outcomes by shaping Frontier Transformation strategies, orchestrating Microsoft's technical ecosystem, and aligning technology investments to business value.

The ATS operates at board, executive, and technology leadership levels to help customers reinvent employee experiences, customer engagement, business processes and innovation through AI, cloud and security.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Outcome Leadership
  • Define and own measurable business outcomes with customer executives.
  • Build transformation roadmaps anchored on business value, not technology deployment.
  • Drive realization of customer outcomes through adoption, governance, and execution.
  • Frontier Transformation Leadership
  • Lead customer frontier transformation conversations across AI, agents, data and security.
  • Develop multi-horizon transformation plans with executive stakeholders.
  • Position Microsoft as the strategic transformation partner.
  • Industry and Boardroom Engagement
  • Develop deep understanding of industry disruption, business models and competitive forces.
  • Engage Cx O, board and business leadership stakeholders alongside technology leaders.
  • Translate AI opportunities into strategic business advantages.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Orchestration
  • Mobilise specialist, engineering, partner and customer success resources around a common customer outcome.
  • Create a single technical strategy across Microsoft teams.
  • AI and Agentic Transformation
  • Help customers establish AI operating models, governance frameworks and adoption strategies.
  • Drive agentic transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Compliance and Trust
  • Model integrity and ethical behavior in every decision.
  • Ensure full adherence to Microsoft’s compliance policies and training requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, supporting a culture of transparency and trust.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Operate as a trusted advisor and technology strategist, translating the Account vision into a technical roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Sponsors, CSAMs, Solution Specialists, Engineers, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation roles, ideally within Financial Services.

  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to lead both business and technical envisioning conversations.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale cloud transformation programmes across multi-geo enterprises.

  • Experience working in global teams with a willingness to travel internationally.
  • Considerable experience in technical sales and strategic account management.
