Responsibilities
- Lead on-site marketing and online merchandising for Microsoft Store sites in EMEA and LATAM, aligning with regional goals.
- Define on-site marketing strategy, visual merchandising plan, and product storytelling across the catalog.
- Manage outsourced site merchandisers and vendors, shifting from manual to high-value activities as AI agents take on routine work.
- Build and deploy AI agents for authoring, publishing checks, pricing, promotions, personalization and testing; set rules and governations.
- Review AI-generated outputs for fairness, bias, and compliance; ensure human sign-off where required.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear specs for features like templates, navigation, bundles, and add-ons.
- Drive key web performance metrics (conversion, AOV, attach) to hit revenue and margin targets.
- Contribute to experimentation and personalization strategies with regional and global teams.
- Foster cross-functional alignment with Production Operations and other stakeholders to improve campaigns and lifecycle management.
- Provide input to online marketing for campaign consistency, product roadmap, and regional plans.
- Collaborate with local and corporate teams to advance online marketing roadmap and derive deep business insights.
- Influence global features, platform improvements, and best practices across Site Merchandising, Planning, and Engineering.
- Improve tools, processes, and ways of working; adapt priorities as needs change and scale.
- Operate with a data-driven mindset, establishing KPIs across the customer journey and regional reporting cadence.
- Lead testing culture and run A/B tests with an AI optimization engine, ensuring robust test practices.
- Leverage customer feedback to improve product value proposition and searchability, including AI assistants and search engines.
- Deliver market insights to stakeholders to shape global online strategy and share learnings broadly.
- Mentor and share best practices with worldwide peers and partners, including AI-driven approaches.
- Key requirements
- 10+ years in ecommerce/site merchandising, with leadership experience across consumer and SMB segments
- Deep expertise in digital/ecommerce marketing and sales, converting insights into executable programs
- Hands-on experience with AI tools/agents: setting limits, reviewing outputs, and determining accept/reject.
- Experience using AI-influenced authoring tools (e. g., AEM) for quick updates
- Proven ability to write clear requirements and own a product plan
- Strong stakeholder management across market and corporate teams
- Ability to collaborate with peers worldwide to scale marketing/merchandising guidance
- Strong analytics skills with experience in web analytics and sales data; comfortable with Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, Power BI
- Experience structuring product data for machines; knowledge of search and SEO
