Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I CE Technician Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities
- People Management
- Lead with empowerment and accountability—model strong leadership, coach for high performance, and invest in team growth.
- Set clear goals, enable cross-team collaboration, and support continuous learning.
- Build, develop, and retain diverse, high-performing teams.
- Operations & Incident Management
- Lead critical datacenter operations across electrical, mechanical, and systems infrastructure.
- Monitor performance using telemetry and CMMS tools, ensuring reliability and rapid issue identification.
- Own incident response, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Maintenance & Technical Excellence
- Oversee planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure uptime and performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding troubleshooting and supporting vendor activities on-site.
- Ensure all work is executed safely and in line with operational standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) OR equivalent experience.
- People management experience.
- Experience in a specialized area (e.g., mechanical field, electrical field, controls field) or related field.
