This role manages and delivers social media content for Sea of Thieves and Rare’s channels. You’ll plan posts, publish daily content, engage with players, and amplify community creations. You’ll work closely with editorial, comms, and creative teams to keep messaging consistent. The focus is hands‑on execution, community engagement, and using data to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain a long‑term social media content calendar with the Social Media Lead.
- Publish and manage posts across platforms (TikTok, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Actively engage with players and followers in comments and conversations.
- Source and amplify high‑quality community‑created content.
- Own end‑to‑end social media contests (idea – execution – winner selection – prizes).
- Communicate game updates, issues, and fixes in a clear, appropriate tone.
- Track performance and use data to refine content ideas and formats.
- Stay current on platform trends, features, and competitor activity.
- Brief or create basic visual/video assets with internal creative teams.
Must‑Have Skills
- Proven experience running brand or community social media accounts.
- Strong written communication (short‑form, brand‑safe, public‑facing).
- Hands‑on experience posting, moderating, and engaging on multiple platforms.
- Experience owning projects from idea to delivery.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
- Understanding of how social media supports player acquisition, engagement, and retention in games.
Nice‑to‑Have Skill
- Strong interest in games and online gaming communities.
- Familiarity with Rare or Sea of Thieves.
- Basic image editing in Adobe Photoshop.

Additional Details
- Location: Manor Park, Twycross, Atherstone, LEC, CV9 3QN (Hybrid, 2-3 days on site for onboarding. Monthly onsite requirement of 2 days minimum.)

- Shift Timings: M-F (business hours)
- Pay Range: £130 - £150/day (PAYE)
