Overview
In this role you will lead high-stakes technology programmes for enterprise and public sector customers within Microsoft's Frontier Company. You will shape delivery across cross-functional teams, driving AI adoption, modernization, and security outcomes. You’ll partner with senior leaders to ensure measurable business results and governance readiness. This is a strategic, client-facing leadership position in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a strong emphasis on delivery excellence and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex engagements and transformation programmes
- Create and maintain delivery plans, governance, RAID, and executive reporting
- Manage financial performance including forecasting, revenue recognition, margin, and scope control
- Drive executive stakeholder engagement across customer and Microsoft leadership
- Support presales by validating delivery approaches and risk assessment
- Facilitate governance bodies and executive reviews
- Identify risks and dependencies with mitigations
- Promote AI-enabled delivery practices and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams across consulting, architecture, engineering and account management
- Ensure delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with customer executives throughout programme delivery
Key requirements
- Extensive experience delivering complex IT, cloud, digital transformation or technology programmes
- Strong project and programme management expertise across multiple delivery methodologies
- Experience leading programmes or portfolios valued at 1m+
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholder groups, including executive customer leadership
- Commercial and financial management experience including forecasting, budgeting and project controls
- Proven ability to lead virtual, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Experience working directly with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Programme Directors, SROs and executive sponsors
